    Invoice Generator FAQ

Is this invoice generator completely free to use?

Yes, our invoice generator is 100% free with no hidden fees or charges. You can create unlimited invoices, download them as PDFs, and manage your clients without any cost. No signup or credit card required.

Can I download my invoices as PDF files?

Absolutely! You can download any invoice you create as a professional PDF document with a single click. The PDF includes all your company details, client information, itemized services, taxes, discounts, and payment terms.

What currencies are supported by the invoice generator?

Our invoice generator supports multiple currencies including USD (US Dollar), EUR (Euro), GBP (British Pound), CAD (Canadian Dollar), and AUD (Australian Dollar). You can easily switch between currencies for international invoicing.

What should be included on an invoice?

A clear invoice shows your business name and contact details, the client's name and address, a unique invoice number, the invoice date and due date, each product or service with its quantity, rate and amount, the subtotal, any discount and tax, the total due, and your payment terms. This generator lays all of that out for you, and adds your logo if you upload one.

How should I number my invoices?

Give every invoice a unique number that follows on from the last one, such as INV-001, INV-002 and INV-003. When you start a new invoice, this generator suggests the next number from your saved invoices, keeping your prefix and zero padding, and warns you if a number is already used.

Can I add tax or VAT to an invoice?

Yes. Enter the tax rate as a percentage and rename the line to VAT, GST or Sales tax if you need to. Discounts can be a fixed amount or a percentage, applied before or after tax, and shipping can be added too. Every amount is calculated to the cent, so the totals on your PDF always add up.
